IB Diploma Biology HL, topic B2

Cells (Form and function)

Cells (Form and function) is about how the structure of a cell suits its function: how membranes are built and control what crosses them, how organelles divide a cell into compartments, and how cells specialize in size, shape and contents. HL adds membrane fluidity, gated channels and pumps, detailed organelle function, and the adaptations of pneumocytes, muscle cells and gametes.
