AQA GCSE Combined Science: Trilogy, topic 1
Cell biology
Cell biology is Topic 1 of AQA GCSE Biology. It covers eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells, animal and plant cell structures, specialised cells, microscopy and magnification, the cell cycle and mitosis, stem cells, and how substances move in and out of cells by diffusion, osmosis and active transport.
Examined in Biology Paper 1 (1 hour 15 minutes, 70 marks). Combined Science: skip anything labelled Triple only.
