Excretion in humans
Excretion is the removal of the waste products of metabolism and substances in excess of requirements. This topic covers the organs that excrete carbon dioxide, urea, excess water and excess ions, how the kidney filters blood and forms urine, and how the liver forms urea from excess amino acids.
