One-to-one tutoring
IGCSE Biology tutor in Dubai and online
One-to-one IGCSE Biology lessons with a qualified biology teacher who knows the Cambridge and Edexcel papers. IGCSE is taken in many schools in Dubai. Lessons are in person in Dubai or online from anywhere.
Cambridge and Edexcel
Cambridge IGCSE Biology 0610 (and 0970, its 9 to 1 version) and Combined Science 0653. Edexcel International GCSE Biology 4BI1 and Science (Double Award) 4SD0.
Core or Extended
For Cambridge we work on the papers you are entered for, including the Supplement content that only the Extended papers test.
Practical paper
Cambridge Paper 5 or Paper 6 is worth 20% of the grade. We practise planning, recording, graph and evaluation questions until they feel routine.
How it starts
A free 15-minute call to understand what's going well, what isn't, and when your exams are.
Cambridge or Edexcel
Both are international versions of GCSE, but the content and papers are different. Schools in Dubai use both, so lessons follow the board and course on your exam entry.
Cambridge IGCSE
Biology 0610: a multiple-choice paper and a theory paper (Core or Extended), plus Paper 5 (Practical Test) or Paper 6 (Alternative to Practical), graded A* to G. Combined Science 0653 covers less biology.
Edexcel International GCSE
Biology 4BI1: Paper 1 (2 hours, 110 marks) and Paper 2 (1 hour 15 minutes, 70 marks), untiered and graded 9 to 1. Double Award 4SD0 has Paper 1 only. Practical skills are tested in the written papers.
Free IGCSE Biology resources
Between lessons, every course here has revision notes, exam questions with mark schemes, flashcards and mind maps, so students can keep practising what we cover.

Frequently asked questions
Which IGCSE Biology courses do you tutor?
Cambridge IGCSE Biology 0610 and 0970, Cambridge IGCSE Combined Science 0653, Edexcel International GCSE Biology 4BI1 and Edexcel International GCSE Science (Double Award) 4SD0.
Are lessons in person in Dubai or online?
Either. In-person lessons are at home or at a quiet study space in Dubai. Online lessons are one-to-one on video with a shared whiteboard, so students anywhere can join.
Can you help with the Alternative to Practical paper?
Yes. Paper 6 is written but asks about experiments: planning an investigation, drawing tables and graphs, and evaluating a method. These skills improve quickly with practice on past questions.
My child is not sure whether they are doing Core or Extended. Does that matter?
It matters for which papers they sit and which grades they can get, so we check with you at the first call. Lessons can start either way.
How much do lessons cost?
Send the short enquiry form and we will reply with prices, lesson times and a plan for your course. The first 15-minute call is free.
