One-to-one tutoring
GCSE Biology tutor in Dubai and online
One-to-one GCSE Biology lessons with a qualified biology teacher, planned around your exam board, your tier and your school's mock dates. In person in Dubai or online from anywhere.
AQA and Edexcel
AQA Biology 8461 and Combined Science: Trilogy 8464, and Edexcel Biology 1BI0 and Combined Science 1SC0. Lessons follow your board's specification and command words.
Foundation or Higher
We work on the content your tier is examined on, and on the longer six-mark answers that lose most marks at Higher.
Required and core practicals
AQA's 10 required practicals and Edexcel's 8 core practicals: the method, the variables and how the questions about them are marked.
How it starts
A free 15-minute call to understand what's going well, what isn't, and when your exams are.
Triple Biology or Combined Science
Your school enters you for Triple (separate) Biology or for Combined Science, which is worth two GCSEs and has a little less biology. Lessons cover exactly what your route is examined on, so no time goes on content you won't be asked about.
AQA
Biology 8461: two papers of 1 hour 45 minutes, 100 marks each. Combined Science: Trilogy 8464: two biology papers of 1 hour 15 minutes, 70 marks each.
Edexcel
Biology 1BI0: two papers of 1 hour 45 minutes, 100 marks each. Combined Science 1SC0: two biology papers of 1 hour 10 minutes, 60 marks each.

Frequently asked questions
Which GCSE Biology courses do you tutor?
AQA GCSE Biology (8461), AQA Combined Science: Trilogy (8464), Edexcel GCSE Biology (1BI0) and Edexcel Combined Science (1SC0), at Foundation and Higher tier.
Are lessons in person in Dubai or online?
Either. In-person lessons are at home or at a quiet study space in Dubai. Online lessons are one-to-one on video with a shared whiteboard, so students outside Dubai can join too.
Do you help with the required practicals?
Yes. Questions on the practicals appear in both papers, so lessons go through each method, its variables and its results, and how the examiners mark answers about them.
When should we start GCSE Biology tutoring?
Any time works, but starting in Year 10, or at least a few months before the mocks, leaves time to fix gaps before revision begins. We also help with last-minute exam preparation.
How much do lessons cost?
Send the short enquiry form and we will reply with prices, lesson times and a plan for your course. The first 15-minute call is free.
